Grand Rapids city snow plows plan to make a special push through the East Hills neighborhood of Grand Rapids Tuesday morning.
Because there's so much snow that residents complain trash trucks cannot get down the streets and emergency vehicles have difficulty accessing the area, the plows will push the big snow piles as close to the curb as possible.
The East Hills Council of Neighbors issued an alert, saying "snow will be pushed back and will be deposited on sidewalks and perhaps in drive approaches (driveways). Residents and property owners are responsible for clearing the sidewalks according to City ordinance; clearing the drive approach (driveway) is also the responsibility of the property owner."
The Council says the plowing will occur between 8 and 11 a.m. Tuesday and cars must not be parked in the road in these locations during that time:
