We're getting ready to kick off ArtPrize 2012.  Here's a couple of things you need to know.

This year over 1500 entries will be faetured throughout the city in 161 venues in and around downtown Grand Rapids.



REGISTRATION - Before Voting you need to register at the ArtPrize Hub at 41 Sheldon Blvd.  You can also register at one of the 7 exhibition sites: Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park 1000 East Beltline Ave NE, Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum 303 Pearl St NW, Grand Rapids Art Museum 101 Monroe Center, Grand Rapids Public Museum 272 Pearl St NW, Kendall College of Art & Design 17 Fountain St NW, St. Cecilia Music Center 24 Ransom NE, & The Urban Institute for Contemporary Art (UICA) 2 West Fulton St.

VOTING - You have 3 options for voting this year: ONLINE – Sign in to your artprize.org account and search for the artist entries you have seen, or enter their 5-digit vote code. TEXT MESSAGE – When you add your mobile phone number to your artprize.org account online or at a voter registration site, you’ll receive a confirmation text message from ArtPrize.  Once validated, text the 5-digit vote code to 808080. MOBILE APP – Download the ArtPrize iPhone app from the iTunes App store, or the Android app from the Android Marketplace.
